For me, the idea of creating Latin vocabulary testing and grammar testing came when I was practicing Latin Vocabulary of my own and I saw another pupil with similar goals creating an early version of the Latin Primer. I talked with him and found that we both had a similar problem with the provided resources and online resources regarding learning Latin. As a result, we decided to work together in creating a resource that ordered and taught Latin Knowledge, with me, vocabulary and testing, and my collaborator, grammar.
